Heart Failure

Heart Failure (HF) is the condition in which the heart muscle fails to pump the blood sufficiently for the body’s needs. The term congestive heart failure refers to the accumulation of fluids in different body parts (lungs, liver, abdomen and lower legs). Common symptoms of heart failure are the following: shortness of breath, excessive fatigue and swollen legs.
