Impedance or blockage of one or more coronary arteries, usually due to atherosclerosis.  Common symptoms are chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck, or jaw. They usually occur with exercise or emotional stress and improve with rest. In many cases, the first sign can be a myocardial infarction.
